Payment and Security
Artifex accepts payment by PayPal which is fully secure to process on-line payments. We also accept payment by cheque but are unable to despatch items until we have cleared funds available. Please make cheques payable to Artifex Jewellery Design. All prices on this website are given in British Pounds.
Chains
Please note that silver chains ordered with jewellery are free post. If you are ordering a chain on its own, there is a charge for either first class mail or recorded delivery, whichever you would prefer.
Privacy
Artifex Jewellery Design is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. The contact information that you provide to us will only ever be used for the purposes of your Artifex purchase or to deal with your query and will never be given to third parties.
Images and Descriptions
We aim to be as accurate as possible in our jewellery descriptions, including precise measurements and true to life images. Please note that the display busts used for the images are not life size and therefore some pieces look a little longer than they actually are. Also, due to the close-up photography, which best captures the fine detail of the jewellery, some pieces may look larger than actual size. Precise measurements of each piece are always included.
Refunds and returns
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any item we offer a 7 day refund guarantee from the date of despatch. We will refund the cost of the item, but not the postage charge. Please return the item to the address on the contact page in perfect, unworn condition and in its original box to be eligible for a refund. For reasons of hygiene we are unable to offer a refund for earrings, unless the piece is faulty.
If goods are returned because they are faulty Artifex will refund both the cost of the item and the shipping cost.
When returning jewellery to us, please send items back via a secure postal method, such as special delivery and ensure that the package is well protected (in, for example a padded envelope). We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in the postal service. Please note that we cannot process any refunds until we have received it in the post.
